Providing clothing and household goods to those in need, the Mission’s Clothing Closet distributes free items. These items include clothing for everyone from infants to adults, accessories, kitchenware and small household appliances – both used and new.
The closet is open Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 -11:30 a.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
To receive – We welcome you to come to the Mission during our open hours. We ask that you limit the items you take to around 16, due to the amount of items we regularly have in our closet. While donations for the items you take are welcome, the majority of the items are free. Just a few items have a very small cost (only $1 to $2 dollars for premium items).
To donate – Bring your clothing or household items to the Mission during open hours. Please do not donate furniture or TVs of any size. There simply isn’t room for those items and oftentimes it results in longer volunteer hours and costs to haul them away. Thank you for your understanding! Tax write-off forms are available, for donations.
Anything we are not able to pass on to our community, we will donate elsewhere.
To volunteer – There are volunteer needs at the clothing closet every day that we are open. Volunteer tasks could include sorting through clothing, checking for usability, stocking the shelves, hauling items to the dump, distributing clothes, greeting people coming into the Mission, helping people find stuff they’re looking for, and just being a friendly and helpful face.
