Youth After-School & Summer Programs
Sign up your child for fun, educational programs held at Olivet Neighborhood Mission through our partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of the Corridor.
In a safe and supervised environment, your child will learn and build character while working with friendly and helpful staff and volunteers. All programs are free of charge.
Who is Eligible?
Children between ages 5 and 13 can participate in our youth programs.
After-School Program
During the academic school year, your child can attend our After-School Program when they finish their school day. The program is open 3 to 6 p.m. ― the window of time when school is over but the business day hasn’t come to an end. Your child will enjoy engaging, structured activities with qualified teachers.
Volunteers can help your child:
- Work on and complete their homework
- Build character
- Learn responsibility and leadership skills
Your child can socialize and make friendships with other children during the program. About 55 to 75 kids participate each day.
Your child will also receive a healthy snack and, if needed, an evening meal.
Summer Recreation Program
During summer break, your child can attend our daily Summer Recreation Program Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Your child will take part in fun activities supervised all day by our team. Your child will receive a healthy morning snack, hot lunch, and afternoon snack.
